(157)FalcoRe:I have an idea for CPU saving2015.02.02 14:59:06
1. Although there is no permanent label on the vertical slider a hint 'Volume' is shown if the cursor points to it.
2. Ok, I will consider this idea as an optional feature.
Thanks for your donation.

Here's an idea you may like: how about pausing the video while any other application takes full screen, but scaling the position value so that the video resumes from where it would have been if it had been left unpaused?
This could be made an option?
Therefore if we load a game, the movie background will not swallow up cpu power.

Lol nevermind I'm an idiot. All I had to do was open the app from the tray and use the vertical slider. So, rather, for idiots like me, please label the sound slider

I would donate, but I can't use your application because it only plays videos as wallpaper including sound. So, I can't do what I want to in Windows because I can't use my speakers for other things.
I have a super overclocked i7 and two GTX 970's in SLI, and I don't care about the performance impact or my electric bill, so I'd just leave the video as my wallpaper. Please email me when you have added a mute function in the app, and I will donate.

after registration you can use the sendText API function on 2011-12 Bravia models.
On newer Bravia models there is a completely different (JSON based) API I have never experimented with.

I'm writing quite similar software. So far I'm able to "push" every button. I wonder if there is a better way to send text than using cursor keys. How did yo do it?
Thank You.

None that I know of. Win7 always switches Aero off when hardware video overlay is activated.

Anyway to re-enable aero in windows 7 while using this?
(145)FalcoRe:NICE WORK2014.09.27 1:37:33
Thanks, I think you refer to Desktop Movie.
Anyway this is not possible because of hardware video overlay limitations on all the video cards I have ever met so far (only 1 hardware overlay surface is available).

It's exactly what i searched. But can you fix the fact that you can just use it on 1 Monitor? I would really appreciate it to see my animation on all my Monitors at the same time

You can use vremote automation interface to make a script and execute it ( just like command line).
There is a documented shutdown IRC command but it does not work with my TV.

Can you create command line "exe" file that will just turn off TV "remote.exe /off"? I need it for my HTPC/XBMC. I can turn it on with WOL but didn't figure how to turn it off. Or if you cant do it, is there any chance to get the source of your program maybe?
Thank you in advance.
(139)FalcoRe:Desktopmovie dual monitor2014.06.16 7:11:33
1. This must be a video driver issue. Windows 8.1 works for me with an ATI card. Try to start desktop movie after you have connected your 2nd monitor. Then look at the monitor section in the context menu. If it displays 2 monitors try to change from
monitor 0 to monitor1.
2. First activate Startup -> Restore Playlist then exit the program. At next start the program should load the previous playlist.

I forgot to mention that:
- I'm windows 8.1 64 bits user.
- I got the message ($887601C2) when I connect the 2nd screen.
- When I save the changes, and I restart the soft, it allways asks me for the file to play (so if I enable the windows startup option, it allways asks me for the file to play)

I have installed the 2.3.1 version and, when I connect the 2nd monitor both screens appears with a black wallpaper (apparently it's deactivated). When I disconnect the 2nd monitor then the software work perfect!.
May be I should mention that the 2nd monitor has a bigger size than the main one. I'm working with a laptop with a 1366x768 resolution, a desktop extension option, and the 2nd monitor works with 1920x1080.
(136)FalcoRe:gpu2014.06.07 11:06:49
Sorry for replying late but I was in hospital. Regarding the GPU performance question:
I have a PII X4 (comparable CPU performance to A8-3850) and a GCN core GPU with much more shaders than a8-3850. In my case The GPU accelerated code path is at most 50% faster and is very parameter/codec dependent. Sometimes the performance difference is within 10%. So with a much weaker GPU I can believe there are situations /parameter combinations when the GPU code path is slower.
As I have written in the readme my program is only a frontend to ATI/AMD directshow filters and the functions are fixed in these filters.

hi thanks for the ATI Encoder Directshow I like his performance, I wonder why it is only with faster cpu? and slower with the gpu. I have an amd a8-3850.
Might I have a request to add support popular subtitle would be great if you could put ssa / ass with styles as now a loose mkv with subtitle is archaic now everything is in mp4.
