Hi, I cannot reproduce your issue so I think this can be some kind of external codec/filter problem. If this problem occurs only with some kind of files you can determine what filter causes the issue by invoking the 'Active filters' dialog when the affected file is playing. But I have a theory that unmasked floating point exceptions are the root of the problem so I have made a test version. Please try it and report back. desktopmovie_254.zip
